I made most of my dreams come true: become an artist, travel the world, living with the American Indian (having been technically adopted in a Brazilian nation called the Xavante in 1989, on which I have written a book),

I am still that child trying to figure out the world. My art is mostly not decorative and not meant to beautify your living-room. My art is about me and how to come to terms with the world I live in. Hence, I do not limit myself to technique or tools to express what I need to express.

I could just plunk my cv here and say, that is it. Let me tell you I have been there and done that. i am not famous, but was not what i was looking for. At some point I dreamed of recognition and rewards for what I have done in my life, which includes bringing water to 2 different Indian villages in Brazil. I spent time with shamans from Bolivia, Peru to Laos and India. I have written a lot down, in English and my mother tongue which is Dutch.

Things need to be seen and published, because I have experienced some stuff that is mind boggling. I am pushing 60 and feel like I lived 9 lives. I would love some of it to go down in history of mankind. In anthropology and art. But that is a dream..so far I have exhibited around the world, told my stories through art and singing, to whom were part of my stories. There are tons of more to be told and shown.

I am lucky I am still alive, never made much money with my art.No degrees or too many awards or prizes, because I do not like competitions. Art is not a race on a horseback for me, and although I have museums and galleries following me on Twitter and Instagram and works scattered in private collections, I do not care so much about it. I would like to show my work on a bigger scale and get your patron attention which would allow me to continue in my old age to paint and draw. Lying on my bed at age 90 and painting the ceiling with a brush on a stick like Matisse did...

So, yes, I am not an 'emerging' artist, and technically speaking an established artist. I am not following any trend or line but my own, and according to where I live or reside I use the materials I have access to. That could be video, photography, mixed media, new media, painting, drawing, doodling, performing, installation live on the beach or in a city, improvising with a busker I meet on the streets, recording a score or dance track for an art or travel video I made.Singing a-capella in the German countryside or in urban Indonesia. I have lots to show, lots to give and share. you may want to talk to me online, chat, ask questions about my art, learn something...
