About

What is a Woman on the Internet?

A Woman on the Internet is a blog and online community created during the summer of 2015 after its creator, Aurelie Sanhaji, was doxed online after posting about video games from a woman's point of view on an online forum. As an intersectional feminist blog & community, we discuss issues of sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia & ableism online & within the gaming community. One of the big focus of the page is and remains to ensure a safe space for women of colour and every individual part of the LGBTQA+ community, in particular trans woman who, as of this day, continue to struggle to get the respect and rights that belongs to them from the "feminist community" and not, and through very strict regulations, conversations are kept civil, respectful and welcoming for every minority and oppressed individual.

What are the plans for 2020?

The goal for 20120 is to bring AWOTI to the next level, elevate it's presence online, create more content for its website, and start other projects.

Here are some of the things you will be helping me with by becoming a Patron;

- Help with the continuation of A Woman on the Internet
- Keep the AWOTI website going
- Help me, as a disabled woman, be financially supported and afford my life saving medication such as my insulin
- Give me the ability to work nearly full time as a content creator and moderator for A Woman on the Internet
