Welcome to Blackchibisan On The Page... or just On The Page for short.

This has been a long time brainchild that I've honestly been too anxious to ever make before. The concept is simple. Regardless of medium, breakdown the art of storytelling. This includes character and world building, how these things develop over the course of the story, and the structure of the narrative itself.

I've been writing and telling stories since I was very young. I've always had a massive passion for the art and have spent most of my life seeking to hone my craft and better understand how it works. I've learned from both the good and the bad and have had more than my fair share of fun of deconstructing, reconstructing, implementing, and utilizing these tools over the years and just like the perfect spaghetti sauce, there are subtleties to every attempt at telling a story. Some are bland, some come on too strong, and some... some are just plain bad. My passion for story telling has known no bounds and I have explored many mediums to master the craft. I haven't but I have enough awareness to take a critical and somewhat serious eye to things. Sometimes when you take a story apart you begin to see the little parts you missed when you were dealing with the whole. My goal with this is mostly educational and personal satisfaction and secondarily to be an entertainer, the latter being a close second.

If you love a good story, want a better look at the workings of a particular story you like, or maybe just a more specific breakdown of why a story doesn't work, I'm your man.
