Mark Milleris creating an Eclectic Body of Creative Works
Everytime I do a bringer show which requires a certain number of people to come. I will create a post and your money will be called into action to pay for someone who lives nearby to come to the show in your place. In exchange, you will get access to the recording of that show.
About Mark Miller
I'm all over the place with what I do, but I'm finding that the harder I try to get focused in on an avenue to garner support for here (or even just a few), the more fragmented I feel. I've never fit neatly into one little box or category and I've never been happy following the conventional path.
The fact of the matter is that I am an Artist.
Comedic? Most Definitely Yes!
I cannot separate a part of my creativity from the greater whole that is my self, and I no longer wish to try, because it is detrimental to me. You can't separate your heart from your body and expect either to survive, so I can no easier separate my comedy or my art or music or writing or anything from the whole of anything else I do.
Therefore, my goal is to show you my worth as a creator and ask for your support of my creative projects which you will have access to as my patrons. These projects will be books, prints, zines or exclusive videos, and I will detail those as I am ready to produce them. I have several already in mind (and in the works) and many many more to come.
For right now, I will try to create each project as a one time donation situation, so that you will always know what you are getting into, but a monthly sustaining system could be created later.
In the meantime...
Here's a quick rundown of what I do:
I create most of my live show content under the umbrella of [sic] Joeks, which encompasses a weekly open mic writers room, a monthly variety show and an intermittent podcast outlet.
I do most of my Comedy Social Media as @BestMarkMiller (twitter, IG, FB) There you will find general musings and promotions of upcoming shows and performances.
I also create small dioramas of tiny worlds (@Lidscapes)... which I then photograph and write funny captions for. The dioramas can be bought, the funny captions will soon be available as a bound coffee table book to my patrons. Lidscapes is fast becoming a major outlet and intersection point for many of my outlets.
If you need a comedy coach, then I have a FB page called "Mastering Mirthology" for that. and I can do set reviews or one-on-one sessions. I can also write jokes or do punchup for your speeches.
If you just want a quick laugh, then you can call my Dial A Joke phone line at 408-502-6275 (that spells MARK by the way) which is a simple phone call with no hidden fees or credit card needed (i.e. it's not a 900 number like you see on late night tv with buxom women urging you to "call now")
So there you go.
Lots more to come.
What do you want to see?
Start supporting my projects and we'll see what comes about.
