We are a creative couple, who also happen to be disabled to varying degrees.

  • We are creating videos for our YouTube channel, as well as some written work for our website.
  • We do many, varied, things in our daily lives, from cooking to art, home repair/decorating to refinishing furniture.
  • We will take our audience along for the ride when we go traveling around the U.K. with our On the Move series.
  • We also want to make use of the creation of our videos to show that people who live with a Disability can use both everyday items, and technology, to their benefit.
  • We want our videos to be helpful, and fun! This could be just for hobbies, like showing you an item that helps with baking your own bread, or helping you use your creative talents to open your own business.
  • We want to show that just about anyone can use technology as a tool to advance their goals.

The Team:
From Darren - As I am Dyslexic I have always had to find ways to compensate for things, including alternate ways  of learning things that other people may find easy. For example maths, or especially reading or writing.
I want to help as many people understand the world of technology and, for that matter, many other areas. I'm currently CJ's full time Caregiver, and I do creative things in and around our home such as leatherworking, woodwork, digital art, and photography.
You will see in the videos I can be, and often am, direct and brutally honest when it comes to reviews and my thoughts.  So be prepared for honesty and something different.

From CJ: I am rather seriously physically disabled. From having more curves in my spine than some roller-coasters, to a fairly advanced heart condition. I have an incredibly complex case of Marfan Syndrome.
I have to find alternate ways to do many things much of the time. Simply to do the things I want to do, like baking my own bread for example, without causing myself even more pain I've had to resort to tech because I can no longer hand knead the dough.
I look at tech, and even some everyday items you would not consider to be tech, with my disabilities in mind. I loved to cook, travel, and learn! So I look at things from a very different point of view from the able-bodied people out there, and I deliberately look for ways that items can help me achieve my goals. Things like using a tablet computer to learn Digital Art, or how to make being creative with the more traditional art supplies, like water paints and ink, easier and more accessible to a person with disabilities.

Together we have been telling companies, their PR teams, and others just how their products can help, or if they have some bonus to a disabled person we let them know they've done a good job.

Now we want to share all of this with you!

We want You you to be a  part of our journey though, through your support of our endeavour.  Whatever level you feel is right!
Every bit helps!

Thanks!
