Cache & Release is a podcast about geocaching......and maybe we bring up other non geocaching topics. In the short time we've been on air, we've received literally 3 or 4 well written reviews about our show. Some say we don't know anything about geocaching, others question our ability to put a full sentence together, but no one questions the fact they had fun at the end of the show. With at least 10 minutes of quality geocaching news and discussion, we make up the rest as it goes. If you want to listen to two guys discuss the beers they're drinking and how many DNFs they've racked up, this is the show you want to listen to. But, perhaps you're asking why in the heck you'd actually want to support this show. Well.....because it's good. Read the feedback on iTunes and you'll understand why our show is so well rated. Your support helps keep the show going. But, unlike NPR, we don't hassle you once a quarter with those awkward break ins. Make sure to listen to our show and we'll let the rest speak for itself.
Goals
$0 of $250 per creation
With a total, combined, contribution of $250 per month from listener support, we'll be able to provide equipment to the show's co-host (Gary Slinkard). In addition, we are working on creating entertaining videos, including an educational series for new geocachers, that will be available on YouTube and Vimeo. The monthly support also helps reduce the out of pocket expense that comes with running a podcast.
