Hi. I'm Chris and I LOVE cinema. It's my church.

In around year 2000 I started a website featuring fake movie pictures. Well, that's what I called them back then - but today I prefer the word 'composite'. Anyway, I would take a screen grab from a movie as a background and pose in front of a green screen - then combine the two images. Nothing ground breaking there, but I went for realism - I didn't want a comical, cardboard cut-out type result and I think I mostly succeeded in achieving a certain amount of realism - well, later on - not so much with my very early attempts! I wouldn't just plant myself in the frame - there had to be a degree of difficulty - so I would always try to make sure I was interacting with either another actor, or the set, or both. Said interaction greatly enhanced the realism (along with accurate lighting). Well, check out some of the pictures on here.

Forward to today and my interest has very much switched to moving pictures - specifically creative 'short shorts' featuring visual effects created in After Effects. I'm loving messing about with certain techniques - namely adding 3D models to live action. I get a real buzz when an effect really works and looks realistic.

I'm hoping to next produce a series of short shorts titled: TIE FIGHTER PARCEL DELIVERY! Yes, just as it says! I love the contrast between the mundane of parcel delivery and a high tech delivery vehicle! There's great potential for fun with that.

I'm very new to Patreon but let me say right off the bat - if you pledge to enable me to buy new 3D models, props or whatnot for me little creative endeavors - thank you so very much. It'll be mind officially blown.
