They say this is the most basic dollar level, which is supportive but not cost-prohibitive. At this level, you receive a heartfelt thanks, as well as access to all of the self-published creative works I release.

The rewards begin with a copy of Darrin's first novel: Echoes of Olympus, and will continue with additional fiction and gaming products as they are released.

Darrin will personally think of you every single time he sits down to create. He'll feel obligated to produce, and will therefore become even more productive, thanks to you. In addition to that, you will receive all of the rewards listed under the $3 reward. You will also be listed as a patron in any of his upcoming works.

In addition to the rewards above, once per year, you will have the opportunity to add something to Darrin's creations. This might include the name of a minor character, a piece of equipment, or a place... you name it. He will send out an email to you, at which point you can tell him what you would like to see appear in his work. There might be some back and forth as he figures out how to work it in, but he will find a way to include it.

About Darrin Drader

Darrin Drader has been a freelancer in the tabletop roleplaying game field since 2000, and a semi-professional self-published author since 2012. He explores the realms and galaxies of the imagination, and forges his ideas into genre fiction for the entertainment of others. He loves to tell stories, whether people interface with them directly via games, or read about the exploits of well-developed characters in his fiction. Although he continues to work with various well known publishers, he would prefer to create material directly for fans of his work.

Darrin loves what he does and would continue to do it with no compensation if that were the only way forward. Being a writer isn’t a job, it’s part of a person’s identity. However, this is a platform that can make exciting things happen. With your support, he would like to transform his career, taking what is essentially a hobby that occasionally pays and turning it into a secondary source of income. The long-term goal would be to make this his primary source of income, allowing him to quit his day job and focus entirely on his writing.

As a Patron, you will receive electronic copies of all materials Darrin creates independent of other publishers. In addition to this, where possible, he will also provide patrons with work done for other publishers. Currently, there are plans to publish fiction in his space opera universe, Reign of Discordia, as well as his alternate history Greek fantasy series, The Atheniad. In addition to this, he intends to release new third party content for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, and possibly other systems
