Hi. I'm just some dude, you know?

This page is for a game I made called "The Absolute Worst Road Trip".

Try it now for free! Read the rules, print the starting packet, and you're ready to go! LINKS TO THE LATEST GAME FILES ARE IN THE POSTS.

I set up this page as a central space to share the game's files as I work on it and so that people who like the game can give me money as thanks. You don't have to give money if you don't want to; it really is free.

The Absolute Worst Road Trip is a print-and-play card game for 1 player or a team of players. It takes you on a dangerous adventure where you struggle to survive as long as possible while lost in the desert on a disastrous road trip.

Assembly is easy:
• Read the rules
• Print the starting packet
• Cut out the cards with scissors, and put them in sleeves with playing cards (to provide backs)
• Grab a pile of coins and a six-sided die

It takes about half an hour from start to flaming ball of vehicular wreckage.

The game is fully playable right now, but I'm constantly making improvements and adding cards. I expect to have an update roughly every month or so.

Any comments or questions (including rules clarifications) are appreciated and will likely be answered.

I'm doing this as a hobby in-between work and other life stuff, so progress will be sporadic. I don't have a set timetable.

If you like the game, please share the files, BUT I do not give license to alter it in any way. Any house rules or fan-made cards will have to be distributed as a separate document. I will not look at any fan material so that I can't be sued if I happen to add a similar idea in an update. I've ensured that all the photos and typefaces etc. I'm using as raw components are public domain, so unless I am mistaken I have full copyright over this work.

I have an older game available for sale at www.thegamecrafter.com/games/deep-dig

Until next time, keep your gas full, pack plenty of water, and whatever you do don't go to Death Canyon!

This tier is for people who, for some reason, like to give money to a stranger every time the game gets an update. Updates are available for free even to people who are not patrons.

There are actually 50 people playing this game!?!

Scratch that, there are actually 50 people playing this game and pledging money!?!

In that case, I really should do an instructional rules video. You will get to see my face. It will be awkward for everyone.
