About Luis Sam

I'm going to try swimming in it like that duck we all love so much, kidding. It's going to be for the expenses but  it will also be for advertising to get submissions. The only way to promote creative works is to let people know we are out here. We try and listen to all the podcasts, review the webcomics and go over all the content on the site so that we know it fits with our audience.

Something which will get harder to do when submissions go up, so we will also try and get more help for that later. We also have a list of projects we have planned, but most of those won't be in the works for a long while. One thing we are currently working is creating geeky related webseries. 2 actually. One will be a post-apocalyptic webseries and the other will be a "how to" on stuff that was done in that show. The better funding we get the better chance of the us surviving to keep showcasing works from indie creators and giving us the opportunity to attend events we can find them at.

P.S. The main reason I started an online magazine (Epic Geekdom Magazine) was because I couldn't find many places to promote any of my art designs, fairy tales, games or anything else without paying a lot or with the right audience blend that would be interested. I built the Magazine around that. To get people to the site that may not necessarily be looking for webcomics or podcasts but might still be interested if they came across them. It has sections for memes, all types of reviews, comic con, geeky cakes, geeky rings, and a lot of other stuff to bring in fellow geeks and nerds. It also of course has sections for promoting podcasts, webcomics, videos, etc by way of voting for the best one for 2 weeks per the FAQ on the site.  Even if you don't pledge, feel free and submit :)
