I've drawn since I was a small child, almost always my favorite animal in the world, dogs and other canine species. I never did take any art classes other than the regular ones in elementary, middle, and highschool when I didn't appreciate my abilities as much as I do now. I wouldn't mind taking art classes nowadays, I could for sure use the extra education! It's just hard get much into your passion when you have no time or funds to put into it because you can barely scrape up enough to pay a bill or buy the kid a present for his birthday. For now, I just study and practice on my own the best I can. I'm an amateur at best, just trying to find my way in life like most of us are. Since I love dogs so much, someday I'd like to move out to the southwest where I was born and build an animal shelter of my own to rescue abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in need. Until then, I've got to find a passion to build my life and future with. I figure I'm ready to try with my art.

Most of what I do are just sketches and illustrations of dogs, wolves, foxes, or whatever I feel like drawing at the time. As a teen, I was very stubborn about how to improve my work- thought I could do it own my own by simply just drawing a lot. To my dismay, I did not improve much and people enjoyed my art less and less over the years. One day just a few years ago, I finally began to study some anatomy, use geometric shapes to frame my work, use shading and lighting more, techniques and dynamics, what have you. I'm still in the process of learning many more things yet, but it's coming along nicely. You can probably spot the difference if you look at my Deviantart page and compare my newer works with my older ones. I'm always open to tips and suggestions as I am in no way a professional artist, so if you think you know any tips or resources that can help me improve, by all means do tell me about them!

If you'd like to help me on my journey to grow on what I do best, and improve on what I could do better, you're more than welcome to join. All contributions are highly appreciated, even if you simply just want to come by  every now and then to see what's new, your support will always be appreciated!
