About

I'm Jason Silver and I'm turning scripture into beautiful music. I release a new, scriptural song for free on YouTube every week. Not only will you find my tunes calming and joyful, they will help you make scripture part of your daily life, helping you to commit it to memory, so you can find inspiration and comfort wherever you are.

Signing up will give you full access to not just the mp3s for these songs but also the sheet music and lead sheets. Then you can:
  • enjoy it yourself
  • share a song with someone who will enjoy it or find comfort
  • print out the song sheets and use it with your church musicians, friends, or just your own playing enjoyment
It may be obvious, but scripture is the main place we develop our Christian theology. Yes, tradition plays a part, more for some denominations than for others, but the Bible is the key to developing good theology.

The scripture is also full of examples of worship, as well as life-changing verses that we should ruminate and meditate on; but unfortunately scripture memorization isn't as common today as it once was, and some of the worship songs we sing in church border on non-Biblical.

My project and ministry is to help inject good theological truths into our worship by using scripture, and only scripture. The lyrics on this site are taken (as much as possible) word-for-word from the various English translations of the Bible.

You'll find the entire book of Psalms, as well many well-known passages.

Your support helps me to put even more of the scripture to music!

If you're in charge of the singing at your church, perhaps you have sometimes wondered about how theologically-sound the music is. For centuries, congregations have used only the Psalms in their corporate worship, but nowadays, those ancient arrangements are often seen as too difficult to sing (or just plain boring). Music has changed a lot over the last few thousand years, and this project attempts to make scriptural worship more accessible.
