I love a good book. I love to devour well thought out stories and fall in love with characters. However, sometimes I get into a reading rut (where I'm having trouble finding a new story) and I'll create my own. And sometimes I'll wake up from a dream or daydream with a great story idea and I have to start a new novel. I've been a long-time collector of ideas and story prompts. Over the past years, I've started many stories and enjoyed writing them transiently. This year I've decided it is finally time to finish one and pursue publication.

Interstellar Series: (current project)
1. Transmission Received
(Prequel to The Last Skye)
The official unedited report of the recently deceased Interstellar Alliance scientist Yar Tukk.
"The purpose of this revolutionary observational study of the Earthen creatures it to attain a better understanding of the rumored creature called the human. It is imperative to the Interstellar Alliance to identify and classify all beings in the spatial territory to ensure the peaceful coexistence of the galactic community.

2. The Last Skye
The most intelligent life forms throughout space have mixed feelings about the humans of Earth. The majority of the Interstellar Alliance (IA) prefer to leave the isolated planet and its inhabitants alone, while others suggest obliterating the planet completely. When news of the death of an IA scientist studying Earth reaches the IA Central Office, intergalactic tensions explode like a supernova.
Following the request of premier IA scientist Kas, the crew of the Evander acquires several humans. In the midst of an intergalactic civil war, the Evander and her crew traverse the far reaches of space in pursuit of scientific discovery and a safe place to land.

Depredation [Project on hiatus]
(A dystopian zombie novel)
Marc just wants a warm bed to sleep in, a hot meal and a shower. Once taken for granted, each simple desire is now an indulgence likely to get you killed. While searching for a safe place to wait out the apocalypse, Marc fights for survival against monsters both living and dead.
When a survivor camp carries news of safe haven, it seems too good to be true. Will this nagging little ray of hope lead to a new life or a shallow grave? It’s hard to be optimistic when everyone wants to rip you apart.

Goals
$0 of $125 per month
Publication is not only daunting, it's expensive. Patron contributions heavily influence my ability to get a book ready for print by funding the cover art, editing, and book design.

With $125 per month, I can write 1-2 chapters each month while saving for publication.

It would also be incredibly validating.
