My name is Greg Stanley and I launched an educational podcast called “Learn From Others” and its theme is "Helping Others Succeed by Sharing Success". The target audience is junior and high school students.

The podcast's goal is to educate the next generation by sharing career experiences of successful professionals by asking four questions; “What did you want to be when you grew up?” to “What do you do today?” to “What would you do differently?” to “What is the typical career path for your position?” It is a way to recognize hard work, perseverance and to provide a forum for students to learn from others' experiences. I recently added free resources for educators to help students crystallize their career path. These include “How to Craft the Perfect Elevator Pitch”, “ACT Tips & Trick” and a questionnaire that helps quantify lessons learned by listening to the journeys of successful individuals.

I categorize episodes by the 16 Career Clusters as identified by the United States Department of Education. These clusters range from Advanced Manufacturing to Finance to Marketing to Human Services to Health Science. So if a student was interested in a job in the medical industry, they could (eventually) listen to the career journey of a Pediatrician to a Hospital Administrator to a Clinical Psychologist to a Brain Surgeon.  Previous guests include an F-16 Pilot, Program Manager for Cadillac Racing and a NCIS Special Agent.

This is a passion project for me and it is not about money, but it takes money to keep the show going. You can help!  Thank you in advance for all of your support!
