❤️Welcome to
Mountain View Sanctuary!

*when you sign up to donate, you'll be charged that day for your selected amount and then again on the 1st of each following month for the duration of your sponsorship*

We are a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization Animal Sanctuary nestled upon a mountain in southern Colorado. We take in animals who are in need of a permanent home and save those who would have otherwise been sent to slaughter. All animals who come here stay here for life. We call them our residents :)

(the view from our front door)

❤️We're currently home to goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, chickens & 2 rescued bearded dragons among many more animals including a Jindo dog who was rescued via another organization from a meat farm in South Korea.
(along with our personal pets).

(Jake & I. I saved him from slaughter when he was only 12 weeks old. He's my BFF)

💜Patreon is one of the ways that people donate to MVS. We offer many different tiers for recurring donations :)

💲Funds are used for veterinary expenses & daily operation expenses.

🤝YOU are what helps make Mountain View Sanctuary possible :) thank you so much for your help.

🔹Enjoy some photos just a few our residents below :)

(Jake & Elwood the day we brought them home. Both had pneumonia, Elwood passed away in my arms 9 days after this photo was taken, despite our best efforts. Jake had been given a 50/50 chance from our vet. Thankfully he survived and over 1 yr later is doing great. You'll notice that we use Elwood for our logo💙).

(Jake fighting pneumonia and then Jake when we celebrated his first birthday!🎉)

(Daryl came to Mountain View Sanctuary after being attacked by a stray dog. You can see the slit in his left ear from the attack. He's happy and even has a girlfriend now, Elley 💜).

(our Donkey residents, Mary & Dallas were headed to auction if we didn't take them)

A little about me:

I suffer from an incurable disease called Endometriosis(since age 10, diagnosed at age 24) as well as progressing severe bone pain and deterioration as a result of side effects from the chemo therapy for Endometriosis (Lupron, please NEVER let the Dr's put you on that, is destroyed my body). My Dr's say that at this rate, I'll be in a wheelchair by 2022, I'm trying to make as much of a difference in the world and for animals while I can. Through multiple surgeries I had to have organs removed and in doing do lost my ability to ever have children.

Once I went Vegan in 2015 (better late than never) I decided that since I couldn't have children, why not give my love and life to animals?

So here I am, with 40 acres in southern Colorado trying to give rescued animals the best life that I possibly can. With you're help, we can make Mountain View Sanctuary an amazing safe haven for our current residents and those to come.

Thank you.
