You are officially one of our bosses!  Your name will be included at the end of each video we release.

Hello!  Welcome to Mourning Tabletop's Patreon.  We are a couple of board game nerds who really enjoy playing oddball games.  You know, the ones you see in your local thrift store and go "how can that be any good?"  Well, we are finding out one bizarre, odd, and forgotten game at a time.   And occasionally newer more mainstream games, cause WE CAN REVIEW WHATEVER STRIKES OUR FANCY!  And we are always open to suggestions.

We are also always looking to improve how we make videos and will always be open to constructive criticism.  We want to make the best videos we can while remaining entertaining.

Right now we release videos when we are able to, which is usually one a month.  Unfortunately, life gets in the way (i.e. jobs, family emergencies, etc).  In those cases, we just may not get the video out on time.  We will always endeavor to do our very best to be on time, sometimes things just happen.

If you choose to donate to our channel, here is a breakdown of where the money will go:

-Better video camera and equipment
-More board games (usually from thrift stores)

Right now we are doing this because we have fun making videos, but the dream is to do this for a living one day.  At this point, we do not have any plans to monetize our videos.  Partly because Youtube keeps moving the goal posts for the requirements (4,000 hours of watch time in a year and 1,000 subscribers to even be determined if you are eligible at the time of writing).  Partly because what we talk about may not always be advertiser friendly and we don't want to restrict our discussion in that manner.  Refer to our least liked video covering the Transformers TCG where we criticized WOTC for their past card design choices and the potential downsides of TCG's.  We recommended it, by the way.

Well, that about sums it up.  If you have any questions or thoughts, visit our Youtube Channel or our Mourning Tabletop Facebook page and let us know!

Thank you for your time, and have a great day!

If we reach this level, we will begin investing in new upgraded equipment.  Better microphones, better cameras, and maybe even some actual lighting.
