Who Are We?
We're Two college students and a Sailor who absolutely live for music. We're constantly doing everything we can for the overall DIY scene, it's always been a place I personally called home. Rob (co-founder) and I played music together for years, as Moma (you can check us out this sunday if you want too it's a free show it'll be cool) And one day we decided that the two of us, along with our good friend Meghan, would start up a 100% DIY focused Blog that did more than reviews, a Blog that would be considered a helping hand in the DIY Scene! And now here we are!

What We Do -
We provide 100% free resources to Bands and DIY Artist, this means Free Food, Free shelter, Free Press, Free Photography, Interviews, and live sessions within the next year or so.
All of this comes out of our pockets, which is why we have a Patreon/Paypal set up, all of the money from those two go directly towards everything we do for Polaris.

Polaris is 100% Equal Opportunity. We work with artist of all ages, genders, and orientations. On top of that, we are not Genre specific, that means we'll do anything we can for you if your rap, emo, pop punk, jazz, noise, spoken word, anything and everything!

How can you submit your band/art??
First, you can send your bandcamp/music to our Facebook page, We are a team of three people, which means someone is always able to respond to our Messenger inbox rather quickly!

Second, [email protected] is our email, however this email is mainly for contact with venues, promoters, and independent labels.

What do your donations do?
Your donations help keep us running! That means website hosting, travelling to shows (up to three-four shows a week) providing food for the bands we feed (roughly 12 bands a month, so close to 60 people). As previously mentioned, we're two college students, we have virtually no real income. This is currently our lives aside from our educations. We have just enough to pay for our Rent and food for the month, What extra we sometimes have goes to Polaris, and most of the time we sacrifice a day or two of eating just to make it out to shows. An extra 100$ a month would benefit Polaris DIY in unbelievable ways, believe it or not. If you'd like to make a direct donation via our paypal, send it to [email protected]

Thank you to Everyone who takes time out of their day to give us a like and share on Facebook, and a big thank you to everyone who happily contributes to our Patreon. You mean the world to us, and we couldn't possible do what we're doing without so much of your love and support!
