Thank you so much for visiting my Patreon page, I hope that means you've already seen what I do and hopefully share my sentiment.

A lot of photographs are taken during times of conflict, of military personnel and events around them. Over time these photos are locked away in cupboards or garages, folded in wallets or sat in direct sunlight in a frame.
These photos could not only hold significant historical information but they are also a record of those who served, sacrificing their civilian life to fight for the civilian lives of those they love and for the world how they believe it should be.

Fast forward to today, many many conflicts have passed and the remaining survivors are few (if any at all). The faces of the men and women who served are being forgotten as time marches on.
Photographs now play a part in preserving their memory and standing as a testament to their bravery. Unfortunately lots of these images are being found creased, water damaged, moldy or faded.

My mission is to save as many damaged military photographs from the past, recording them digitally in the current state and then also carrying out restoration work to create a repaired version as a mark of respect to these men and women and to make sure their history is not lost to the sands of time.

All rescued photographs will be hosted online along with any information about them so that they can be accessed by anybody.

Funds raised by Patrons will increase my available budget to acquire photographs, meaning I will be able to save mored. It will also be used for equipment required and it's maintenance as well as archiving equipment to preserve the original prints/negatives
