About Polynesian Cultural Society
AlohaThat is the word of welcome; how the Polynesians greet their visitors. This legendary hospitality is symbolically shown on your arrival at Polynesia. With its turquoise lagoons, its islands surrounded by sparkling white sand beaches, its magical atmosphere, Polynesia and the surrounding islands attracts many couples looking for a very romantic holiday. Singles may find many attractions on the Island. We offer weekly Polynesian Shows and Luaus as well as cultural get-togethers when we listen to ancient Polynesian legends, view Polynesian art expositions, or simply dance the night away at our Tiki Bar. Strangers meet in a friendly atmosphere on the island, and all sorts of friendships and relationships begin. Who can say, "We met in Polynesia?" You don't need to buy a ticket nor book a hotel to visit us. Come visit a virtual Polynesia. Aloha Nui Loa...
Events and ActivitiesPolynesia offers breathtaking views and relaxing atmosphere where you can hangout with friends and loved ones. What can be more romantic than dancing the night away on the tropical island? Please visit the natural parkland where you can hear the sounds of nature and explore this gorgeous island, surrounded by azure blue sea and coral reefs. Escape to our tropical island away from it all. Use the teleport pad to tour the island. The entire region is open to the public, where we have many activities for you to enjoy. We offer a Polynesian Extravaganza Show featuring a canoe ride around the island, traditional Polynesian dances to the music of the South Pacific islanders of Hawaii, French Polynesia, Samoa, Tonga and more...
We promote the preservation of the Polynesian culture with sessions of ancient legends accompanied by singing and music.
Join one of our regular luaus and have some fun the Polynesian way.
We explore Hawaiian spirituality and healing methods, Huna, based on the research by Max Freedom Long and Serge Kahili King as well as Ho’oponopono (ho-o-pono-pono), an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.
We pay our respects to the Hawaiian Royalties, Princess Ka'iulani, Princess Lili'uokalani and other members of the royal house with upcoming art exhibitions. Please visit!
HAPPY HOURRoyal Polynesia is a very romantic destination, with dances and couple animations available at the Tiki Island Bar - the bartender can be seen serving Mai Tais.
Waterfalls, volcanoes, coral reefs, native sculptures and beautiful plantings come together here with a panache that really stands apart from other Second Life builds in this genre.
The Magic of Mana
While you’re here, why not discover and then explore the tranquil, tropical (yet mysterious) island of Kauai, as our intrepid young traveler, Robert Radcliffe, also finds during his magical journey in the novel, Mana: The Magic Beyond the Rainbow. But, during his time on Kauai, Robbie encounters a mysterious and legendary race of inhabitants known only as the Menehune. From his arrival upon this native land, through to the Menehune’s fight for peace and survival, Robbie experiences the adventure of a lifetime, and also discovers love, courage and the spiritual power of Mana magic.
Every proceed from the sales of Mana: The Magic Beyond the Rainbow, either directly from the Royal Polynesia site or from a portion of patron contributions, will go to support the Polynesian Cultural Center on the Royal Polynesia/Second Life site.
Thank you all for your generous support, and see you in paradise! Aloha Nui Loa.
