About RubberOnion Animation
Who am I?
My name is Stephen Brooks. And because that's a fairly common one apparently I go by RubberOnion.
I'm an animator from New York but also an
- author
- instructor
- podcast host
- other various and sundry things...
What is RubberOnion?
Through the podcast, book and vlogs, RubberOnion has become a community of supportive creatives from all kinds of backgrounds and experience levels. I'm very proud of that. This growth even lead to the monthly animation battles where people get to flex their cartoon muscles and feel comfortable doing so. Before all this I had been making quick-hit tutorials that found a following for brevity (which I did not continue when I wrote the book... all the information in my brain is in that book)!
So Why Patreon?
Obviously all that content takes time to make. I also have hosting fees and such for the podcast and spend money on the prizes for the battles. I love it and will do it anyway but any support helps! In return you'll extra perks get...
- Discord channel
- Entire year's Battle topics
- Archive of all video streams
- My eBook "How to Start a Successful Freelance Animation Business"
- Our Patreon Exclusive Podcast "Lunchtime" episodes
- ... and more things like that (check out the tiers!)
Thanks in advance... and don't forget to say 'hi!'
