Sapphire Stitch is creating Plush Fan Art

I'm Kerry, otherwise known as Sapphire Stitch, and I love to create plushies of fan art. My favourite things to make are Pokemon and Digimon. I also love sewing critters of any kind!
I live in Northern Ireland, a small country beside England and one that both loves and loathes its own history.
I began to plush in the summer of 2012, when I made a crude Fluttershy plush out of felt and marker. The material wasn't the best, the patten was simple, and the stitching was horrendous. Nevertheless, I was proud, and I am still happy to look back on that piece of rubbish and call it the first step on my plushing journey.
I mainly get some sewing done in the evening, as I do work full time. It can be tough, but I am always happy when I sit at the sewing machine.
Why Patreon?
Basically, there are a lot of costs involved in making plush art. This includes expensive minky fabric, thread, stabiliser, needles, upkeep of the machines (sewing and embroidery) and more. A little bit extra from Patreon would help with theses costs and help me continue doing what I love. Not to mention the boost it would give me, knowing there are people interested in seeing my progress.
What Can I Offer?
I mainly post my progress and techniques. I like showing you guys what a pattern looks like before it's sewn and stuffed -- it often looks different than you may expect -- and I also want to share more advice on how to do certain things. I would also be able to offer tailored advice. I also want to show failures, because they can be just as interesting as the success.
It's really all about sharing the progress and discoveries. I am excited to do so on Patreon.
My plushes have been getting bigger and more adventurous, and I have awesome plans for future projects that i would love to share with you all!

If I can get that much I guess it will not only give me a boost, but encourage me to create more and get better at my craft. I would also think about creating videos (simple ones), helping to explain some of my progress and ideas.
