Thank you for supporting School of Trek!

My goal with this channel is to teach my sons the fundamentals of film-making, including camera set up, lighting, using a green screen, creating visual effects, and how to run a YouTube channel. We will attempt to do this by producing one episode of our Star Trek review show per month, with an emphasis on what any particular episode of Star Trek may have to teach us. Be it about the human condition or even how the episode was made. I was inspired by the books by Dave Marinaccio "All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Watching Star Trek." We aim to see how plausible that concept really is, and have fun doing it.

Half of your support goes to maintaining the channel, and getting the equipment used to make every episode.

The other half goes to providing education for Paul and Michael. Including field trips to zoos, museums, and national parks, and purchasing school supplies, experiments, and books they want to read.
