Miniature paintings by a newbie!
As a very young child I remembered being in meadowhall at the games workshop there, stood with my dad, told not to touch anything as my destructive nature as a child wasn't best suited for this place, but I never really understood what it all was.
Years later, after my dad's passing, I guess I asked my mother to take me to "that model shop" so I could have a look - -?????? - - at some point after that I'm buying a squad of space marines and paints. No idea what I'm doing with them, but with all my birthday money spent, I was doing this.
My base coats were heavy. Details were messy. Infact you couldnt call it a base coat... A thick layer of Ultramarines Blue slapped onto bare resin, followed by colouring in the details. The Internet was a rare commodity back then, and getting tips and advice for a shy 11 year old was hard. So I slowly developed and didn't really get anywhere. I did learn alot about the rules playing with friends and attending beginners sessions at GW.

At some point, life became less about sitting in the attic and spending all my birthday/christmas gifts and money (the only way I could fund the hobby) on little bits of plastic and paints and more about jumping on a skateboard and hanging with friends. Thus began my 14 Year hiatus...

Now I'm back in the hobby after a quick trip to Warhammer World, picking up tips and tricks everywhere I can and seeing how far I can develop now. So this is my journey...

I don't expect to get Patrons, and I probably don't deserve them... not yet anyway. But thank you to anyone who even looks at my posts, rather than becoming a patron, I'd much prefer advice and tips!
