Who Are WE?

The D.O.L.L House is a leadership program designed to help young ladies ages 10 and up prepare for lives of service, rooted in faith, hope, and love. To embrace, nurture, build self-esteem, dreams and cultivate through the arts. The D.O.L.L House is committed to inspiring and promoting self-love. Encouraging young ladies to further their education, help develop life skills, healthy coping skills, and empowering them to make healthy decisions.  Keeping girls out of the influence of gangs, drugs, sex trafficking  and other negative behaviors.

Our Story

Teaching a music enrichment class in 2012, I met a group of young ladies who would change my life. I saw a need that needed to be met and I wanted to create a space where young girls could be free to express themselves and build a sisterhood. I wanted an environment where social and emotional growth could take place. Helping them develop into balanced women. After being approached by some parents who said that I had such a positive impact on their daughters and wanted to know what I did outside of teaching , I felt that I could do more.  As the years passed, I began to notice for myself the impact I had on other youth and that my previous youth were still looking up to me. Five years later Eureka! I decided to move forward with the DOLL HOUSE mentorship program to help make a difference in my community and those I encounter. I wanted to show young ladies to not allow fear to hold them from making a difference in someone’s life and to show them dreams DO come true.
