"The Plastic Gender" is a name that I created poking fun of the overwhelming number of people who mock the so-called "fake genders."
The inspiration for the phrase was derived from the 2004 movie entitled "Mean Girls." In the movie, a group of popular girls were dubbed "The Plastics", because they were transparent, caustic, and most importantly - FAKE. But, at the same time, much like plastic, gender can be molded and created into anything someone wishes to be.

I recently re-branded my YouTube channel so that it solely focuses on educating the public about transgender issues such as:
  • What It Means To Be Transgender
  • Is Being Transgender A Mental Illness?
  • Rights and Laws
  • Bathroom Bills
  • History
  • Current Events
  • Opinion Pieces
  • Reviews

I am proud to say that I have worked on other projects such as, "What It Means To Be Transgender", which currently has over 66,000 views on YouTube. As a psychology major, I work hard to research transgender issues and gender related topics. I enjoy educating myself and others by reading medical journals, interviewing doctors, psychologists, professors, and watching documentaries about the subject.

I have spent over seven years studying trans issues. Throughout this time, I have learned quite a bit about how to properly present this information to the public. For a long time, this was a labor of love. But now I would like to take it more seriously...

I want to put all my energy into trans rights, but I need your help!

This Patreon was created to help me further my personal mission, which is to advocate for the highly under-represented transgender community.
All funds collected will be allocated towards the purchase of materials, such as cameras and lighting equipment. While the videos that I have posted using my iPhone have been somewhat effective, it's not enough. We need to reach further!  Having better equipment will allow me to produce higher quality videos. This will help all of us in our journey to educate those who might otherwise not understand the concept of being transgender.

Every little bit helps! With your contribution, perhaps we can begin to eradicate intolerance. If I am able to reach even one person, I have succeeded. Thank you so much~

In order to make great videos, I need an appropriate camera. For the past couple years I have only been filming on my iPhone. As my subscribers grow, I feel the need to provide them with quality content. If I get a camera, I'll also be able to create a space in my room specifically for filming, since i carry my iPhone around with me, I dont have a designated space for filming. Having a camera and a tripod will make it easier to have a set space to . The camera I am looking into is a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H300
