I am a freelance television producer. The reason why I got into cameras and video editing back in the early 2000's was to make inspiring, motivational and funny endurance films. I would day dream at school about TV shows I'd love to make some day. So I went and studied at film School. At first it was like learning another language. I had no idea where to even start. I was by far the worst in the class and was for many years. So I jumped in the deep end and started my career as a news cameraman. It tough me how to shoot/do sound/light/edit and ask the right questions to talent all while under extremely tight deadlines.

With a lack of sponsorship its almost impossible to continue to make these videos. Thats where you can help me. You can be my personal sponsor. With these three episodes I have edited them in the hours of 8pm to 4am. That the only time I have free after working during the day then coming home and getting two kids under four ready for bed. With my wife too of course.

Helping me here on this platform will give me the opportunity to focus on Weekend Warriors projects and delicate more time to make more videos.

Let me entertain, inspire and give you goose bumps. You will be laughing and crying with the Weekend Warriors I want to make these videos on.

Any support will help and if you could share maybe someone you know too will help.

Thank you for your time
Cheers Dean

This financial backing will help with the cost of production. To make a 30-45min video takes a lot of work and money.

1- Travel. Not only flights and accomodation, the killer is excess luggage. Sometime thats the highest cost. Have you ever seen a production crew at an airport. They bloody love us $$$$$$$ I just spent $1800 each way going to PNG for a fishing show I work on.

2- Equipment/hire - 4k cameras, lenses, tripods, audio, drones, GoPros, Car 4x4, lights, defusers/scrims, Laptops, camera stabalisers and more. Thats just the basics to start off with.

3- Shoot days - Booking extra crew for shoots. These are long days up to 15-16 hours.

4- Editing the story in an edit suite- This is where most of the time is spent. Right here you are looking at a minimum of 4-6 weeks work. Logging all the vision, transcribing all the interviews, building story. This is highly time consuming.

5- Grading & audio mastering - Then when you have finished the final master edit you have to send it off to a production house to do the final colour grade and audio mix. This can take 1-2 weeks easily. And its not cheap.

To make about 22min of TV for an ob doc with minimal crew will cost up to 40k. I am trying to cut this cost hugely by doing as much of the work myself. But I need the time to do it.

Goals
$2 of $7,000 per creation
When I reach $7000, I will make another episode just like you have seen in the first 3 episodes. It will be at least 22min and up to 50min depending on the event.

Lets see how far I can push Scott this time. I have another brother also, Ross. He's a bit funnier then Scott, Also smarter and better looking. Maybe its time we get him into the action?

This money will be spent on producing the videos. Travelling to locations around Australia, booking flights & accommodation. Hiring camera equipment and paying for the editing sessions. As well as all the labour involved in creating the videos
