About Alex Flett

The reason for having this page is to develop help to take the making of Fine Art into places and areas where people, and in particular children, in the developing world and give those who have never had a lesson in art the chance to express themselves in that manner. There are two ways by which this can be effected. 1) by workshops for artists who are already within communities and giving them support information to bring visual art opportunity to others. 2) By engaging directly with young people oneself as an educator. Both mean there are costs. Travel and materials for artists who engage in learning workshops, in order that they may engage communities in the plastic arts. And travel, accommodation for oneself to effect these workshops or/and to engage with people (young and old) in communities where there has been little or no opportunity to engage in the expressive plastic arts.
