About A Little Bit Off

Hello Theater-Goer!  Thanks for visiting our Patreon Page, and considering becoming a patron that makes our art possible.

Let's start by telling you a little bit about ourselves, as a company:
Since 2013, A Little Bit Off has been touring North America, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand, bringing the traditions of slapstick, vaudeville, and clown to audiences across the globe.  Our unique brand of comedy blends these traditions with modern influences from contemporary theater, circus, and clown.  The final blend ends up as theatrical universes that feel timeless by fusing vintage aesthetics with a fresh, relatable modern feel.

Here is what your Patronage can do for us:
  1. Help offset rehearsal costs.  Our monthly rehearsal rental costs usually range from $200 to $600 a month
  2. Help cover festival/production fees.  If we cant afford our festival fees, we cant bring our work to anyone.  On the Canadian Fringe circuit, festival fees are in the $600 - $800 dollar range per festival, and we need that money in our bank account, ready to go, the second we get accepted to a festival, or they pass us up for the next company.
  3. Costumes and Props.  The shows we create are very prop heavy.  This past tour, we went through over $1200 worth of balloons.  Our physical style also puts stress on our costumes that most clothing is not designed to withstand.  We are constantly in the process of repairing and replacing things in our shows. Not to mention, as we develop new shows, the research and development costs can add up as well.
  4. Travel Expenses.  Driving from city to city is quite expensive.  Our white van, Vanna White, isnt the most gas efficient, but we need the room to be able to transport all of our props and costumes.  The gas adds up and when we fly, we are often paying extra baggage fees, just to be able to bring our shows with us.
$114 of $500 per month
This will cover our monthly rehearsal costs, allowing us to create and refine the best work we can, to bring to audiences around the world!
