About Almighty Games

I am a solo Indie Video Game Developer and an Online Instructor. I am currently streaming on Twitch and sharing my daily work with the general public.  It's been a lot of fun, and I have learned much about development & teaching in the past few years.

It's a great time to get involved with Almighty Games. As you will discover from the details below, I have been quite busy making games, providing educational material for other developers and learning the business end of the indie video game industry. I've received a lot of helpful tips from regular viewers on my Twitch channel and want to extend an invitation to those who wish to help support my projects both financially and intellectually.

By becoming a Patron, you'll have a voice in Almighty Games. Some of you, depending on your level of involvement, may see your name listed as a supporter in the credits for games, social channels, our official website and even in the video overlay of my live Twitch streams.  Please check out my reward tiers for more details about some of the cool things you can gain access to as a Patron. Thank you for your support!

Upcoming Games

I am currently working on two long-term game projects. Both of these games are on hold until I can stabilize my financial situation.

The first is a game called Pawnshop Tycoon which allows the player to build a Pawnshop from scratch, learn the role of a Pawnbroker, and build their business up as far as they can go.

The other game is called Lost In Time which is a First Person Shooter Interior-Only Random Dungeon environment with characters plucked out of 20 different periods in time. This fantasy game allows players to choose from unusual combinations of characters & weapons and explore a never-ending series of mixed-up environments, each representing the homeland of those who are "Lost In Time".

I am also working on a series of game clones which will be used as a starting point template for making quick games in the future. I might use these clones to develop high-quality full release games on Steam or perhaps to participate in future Game Jams.

Feel free to watch my live Twitch streams to see me cloning common games such as Spelunky, AdVenture Capitalist, Rogue-like Random Generators, Hill Climb Racing, Tanks, Plants VS Zombies, Metroidvania, Platformers, Driving, RPG, Puzzles and a few classic 80's style arcade games like Pac-Man, Rampart, Joust, Gauntlet and more.

Upcoming Courses

I currently have over 8,000 existing students which I have acquired over the past 4 years while creating courses on Udemy.  Many of my students are looking forward to my next course.

I'm currently working on a series of online courses teaching the new Blender 2.8 for Unity video game developers. By making the content specific to this niche, I can skip over areas that are not useful or interesting to this group of students.  The result is a much more refined resource for game developers like myself who only want to know what's necessary to add props, build levels, animate characters, and otherwise just work on their game projects.

Goals & Milestones

I want to produce higher quality games and courses. This means I need more time, attention to detail, and financial freedom.

With proper funding, I could focus on creative stuff in a casual stress-free daily routine. My base goal is to earn $2,000 per month. This money would help pay my bills, including; rent, utilities, food, gas, and other accounts. It would also afford me a suitable budget for marketing my games through online ads and business-related expenses.

At $3,000 per month, I will be able to start hiring artists to help out with my projects. I will need someone to handle Texture Mapping for my long-term game's 3D models. I will also need people to design logos and produce promotional videos.

At $4,000 per month, I will be able to extend my budget for marketing. I'll also begin to add more original artwork and game assets which would result in higher quality game graphics.
