Growing up, I was always focused on "getting there."
There was always the next stage that I thought would be my forever home.
I can't wait to finish (blank), then things will be what I need.
After a few rides on that merry-go-round, I began to see I would never be content at the next stage. The issue was so much deeper than circumstances.

I've always been creative. Music was my oxygen until I was about 20 and I gave it up to pursue something more practical. Discouraged, I decided music as a career was a pipe dream.

But--it was on that music-less journey that I found a place for my soul to rest. I had an encounter that changed my life forever. I began to believe I had value--I had something to offer. I believe the same is true for all of us. We all have value, we all have something to offer, something bigger than this world. A hope, true love, and we all are called to express it and to share it in unique ways. Music is a way I've been called to do just that.

Now I see music as a requirement of my life if I ever want to graduate from merely existing. Music unites, empowers, invokes, inspires--it's art. Will you join me on this journey of uniting stories through the art of music?
