About Amanda Carbine

Art is something that is very important to me. It's a career path that I've been pursuing since I was a wee one in the sixth grade.

In the last few years, I've been making a lot of fan art to sell at mostly at anime conventions. And I really love working at conventions and making fan art, but I feel like I am transitioning and being pulled to story telling.

A couple of years ago, I made a minizine called "NoYeti" about a Yeti visiting Los Angeles from the Himalayas. It's only about 8 pages long, and it doesn't really have a deep meaning, but it's one of my pieces that I'm most proud of because I developed this little character and his little story from start to finish.

Storytelling is what I truly love, It's why I grew up obsessed with disney movies, it's why I collect illustrated children's books and other art books and ultimately, it's why I became an artist in the first place. If you want to support what I do, you can think of this little page as a tip jar. It takes a lot of time to do what I want to do, and having supplementary income will allow me to work on art more and be at my day job less.

Your monthly contribution is so very appreciated! And there are some perks to making a monthly pledge, too! Like access to "Patron Only" posts about my creative process and the ideas that aren't panning out the way I want them to! Please share my patreon with your friends if you think they would be into it!

Thank you so much for reading this wall of text and for considering supporting me. You are pretty much the best!
Goals
$0 of $200 per month
As it is, pretty much all of my paycheck is allocated to things that I need to survive. Rent, Gas, Therapy and Medical costs, you get the drill. 200$ more each month will give me the flexibility to take a day or two off work if necessary, take care of unexpected expenses and over all allow me to have more freedom to work on art.
