About Arnold Byun

From washing dishes in my early teenage years at the family restaurant in Seoul, Korea to running the door at Chef David Bouley's Michelin-starred flagship restaurant in downtown Manhattan as its youngest Assistant Restaurant Manager, I have since implemented service standards at Hakkasan New York as Restaurant Manager, and opened Soho House's first public restaurant in New York, Cecconi's DUMBO, as the Food & Beverage Manager.

In 2018, I graduated from New York University with a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management and joined the dining room team at the 3-Michelin starred Eleven Madison Park. In 2019, I launched With Warm Welcome, a podcast where passionate people share stories of early euphoria, fantastical failures, and how they harness hospitality in their whimsical worlds.
