About Dan Krikorian

Hey everyone and thanks for checking out the Beautiful Work Podcast.

I started this podcast in September of 2018 for a couple of main reasons:

1) I was genuinely interested in talking to people about the type of work that they create, and how they do it.

2) To continue to build a community of like-minded, interesting folks. I've had the privilege over the years through my careers as a musician, college basketball coach, and professor to cross paths with people who create different types of amazing work.

The podcasts consists of deep-dive interviews with a featured guest where we explore the myriad of good and bad issues they face in doing the work that they do.

Each episode is carefully crafted with intros, interludes, music, and researched questions to provide the best listening and learning experience for the listener.

Your support here helps cover some of the costs associated with bringing these podcasts to fruition.

Thank you for your help and you can read more about my songwriting career below as well :)

Dan Krikorian’s musical style is defined by a cinematic blend of poetry, melody, and storytelling providing listeners a cathartic and energizing listening experience.

His ever-growing reputation for crafting organic and reflective folk/pop has propelled to his career to new heights. In the summer of 2018 he had a stunning performance at the Pageant of the Masters, a week-long OC Fair residency coupled with the release of his new single “Need Me Bad” and a forthcoming 5th studio album, Grandeur, has garnered Krikorian a passionate Southern California following. Reviews such as “This deserves to find a larger audience... Dan Krikorian really has everything you need for greater success”, as well as… “Beautiful melodies, beautiful lyrics, beautiful harmonies, stunning arrangements, twists and turns...Bloom is a masterpiece an absolute must.” (Moore’s Magazine) accurately describe both Krikorian’s live shows and recent recordings.

Krikorian has steadily garnered a loyal fan base in both the U.S. and Europe through the releases of his 4 critically acclaimed albums. From the 2008 Jack Johnson leaning Oxford Street, to the 2013 Gregory Alan Isakov tinged Bloom, Krikorian continues to inch himself further and further into the echelon of today’s most thoughtful and earnest songwriters. Having shared the stage with artists such as The Foo Fighters, Eddie Money, The Animals, ALO, Chris Trapper, Jenny and Tyler, and Shane Alexander among others, Krikorian is clearly an artist coming into his own. 2018 will see the release of Krikorian’s 5th full length album, Grandeur, supported by both West Coast and European tours in 2019. www.dankrikorian.com
