Brahma is creating music and visual art.

Brahma is a musical project based in Edmonds, WA. It features Matt Jungmann as the song writer, tracking musician, and mixing/mastering engineer. Matt also incorporates his visual art to accompany the music.
The music of Brahma features a focus on memorable and earnest vocals, while being supported by creative melodic arrangements and engaging rhythms.

With a catalog of material spanning over four albums (approximately 12 tracks per album), Brahma is a project that will prove to be entertaining and engaging for the fans as it evolves.

The concept of Patreon is simple: It's a means by which you can directly sponsor artists as they create material. Patreon allows you to pledge an amount that you feel comfortable giving per “creation” that an artist releases. This means the artist gets paid regularly without the need for a middle-person, and you become a direct patron of their art, while receiving rewards based on your pledge level. It's a really powerful and direct way for fans to support their favorite artist.

Please don't feel pressured to become a patron if you're on a tight budget. All music is eventually viewable on YouTube, and also attainable through Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Just keep in mind that the biggest perk of being a patron is that you will hear all songs 1-2 months before they're released to the general public, and you will also get access to the patron-only stream where you will experience content that no one else will see.

The majority of the funds that are pledged to Brahma will be put right back into the project. Whether investments are made through better audio equipment or new instrument libraries, the focus will always be to provide fans with a meaningful and impacting experience.

Lastly, please take a look at the Goals section to see some of the bigger plans that are in store for Brahma. Most notably, there are plans for some animated short films and possibly a live tour. If you like what you see, and are excited to see where this project can go, please assist me in spreading the word about Brahma so that these goals can become a reality!

1. How do I subscribe to Brahma?
Simply create a Patreon account, return to this page or search for "Brahma", and then pick the pledge level that suits you!

2. What methods can I use to pay?
Payments are processed through Patreon's secure website using a credit or debit card.

3. Do I have to pay in US Dollars?
No -- Pay in any currency. As this is a US based website, everything is written in Dollars, but you can use any currency and it will be automatically converted.

4. How much music will you release per month?
I'll be releasing one song every 1-2 months. My goal is to average around 12 songs per album per year.

5. What if I miss a monthly song release? How can I later acquire the music?
The quickest and most direct way to acquire old music is through my Soundcloud or Bandcamp sites. All music will also be made available through iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and most other online music stores and streaming services. Just search for "Brahma".

NOTE: There could be a 4-7 week lag time between when the music is initially released through Patreon vs. when it will show up on these other services.

6. How is your visual art incorporated into your music?
While the music will be the main focus for Brahma, my visual art will also have a role to play. Along with most new song releases, there will be original Brahma art prints that will accompany the song. The visual art is intended to give some extra narrative and context for the music.

Some example prints below:

Bull Head Series: #001, 13" x 19"

Bull Head Series: #002, 13" x 19"

Melancholy Moon, 13" x 19"

7. Can you elaborate on the size and quality of the art prints?
The art will generally be printed at 13" x 19" in full color (when applicable) on high quality 110 lb. acid-free/lignin-free paper. The size of the print could be subject to change dependent upon the dimensions and ratios of the art itself. Each print will be signed and identified by number (*/*). The identifying number of the print that you receive will be randomized. They will be shipped within 2-3 days after the most recent song release. There is no extra cost for shipping.

NOTE: I cannot make any promises to how archival these prints will be since many factors can be out of my control. But rest assured, due to the paper being acid-free/lignin free, and proper handling on my end, they should last for a very, very long time.

8. Can I get my hands on an old art print from a previous song release?
If you're interested in checking out some of the unclaimed prints from previous song releases, please visit my Etsy account where you can see what's still available.

9. Can I stop donating in the future if I can't afford it?
Yes. If you would like to stop donating, you simply log in to your account and make the changes there. Also, a great method for controlling how much you spend is to set a monthly maximum amount in your account settings when you sign up so that you never donate more than you can afford.
