Want to make games? Working on a game, but stuck on a problem? Hopefully MinTuts can help!

Who am I?
Hi, I'm Bryan and I've been building software for a while. I'm a hobbyist game developer. I have a game in the App Store. I've learned some really helpful things over the years and I'd like to share what I've learned to help other game devs.

To share what I've learned I'm creating a unique kind of tutorial called MinTuts.

What is a MinTut?
MinTuts are minute long video tutorials designed to be easy to understand, accessible, and useful as reference when working through hard problems.

Each MinTut video is a series of slides. Slides play at one per second. This means the video gets to the section you're looking for quickly. Once you find the slide(s) you want you can pause and use the playhead to scrub back and forth between slides - digging deeper to get better understanding.

This approach makes for quick, easy-to-navigate videos that pack in a lot of helpful info.

Attributes of a MinTut:

  • Focused, concise
  • Straight forward, nuts and bolts style
  • Intended to be used as both a tutorial and reference
  • Minimalistic presentation
  • Code centric

What is this Patreon for?
If you find MinTuts helpful and would like to continue creating them, you can use this Patreon to let me know that by throwing me a few bucks.

I don't have any tiers or anything. I want to keep things simple. Contribute whatever you want. Or don't. Either way is cool. My goal with MinTuts is to help you. That's it.

Happy coding!
Tiers
The one, the only
$1 or more per month
There's only one tier. Use it to donate as much or as little as you want. Most importantly, make that game.
