Firstly THANK YOU for even coming to my page!  Not sure what exactly brought you here, but I'm glad you came!
My name is Kevin, and I live in Southern California, or Oxnard more specifically.  It's a small beach-side city just south of Ventura, and the weather is almost always perfect here, 70 and sunny.  I have had Crohn's Disease since 1998, and have tried working in multiple venues but each job has met it's end at the hands of the flareups I suffer from regularly.  I have been able to find passion in four things that make me really happy; Photography, Gaming, Computers and Cannabis.

I have had a passion for photography since my parents got their first Olympus Stylus Epic in the late 90's, and ever since then I've had my own camera and enjoy taking photos whenever I see an opportunity arise, may it be a creature, a plant, a sunset or the horizon.  Once cell phones started implementing cameras, I made sure mine always had one of the best around; my first "smart phone" was a Sony K800i, the James Bond phone (lol)

It didn't have a touch-screen, but it did have a 3.2 megapixel(!) Sony Cyber-Shot camera with a Xenon flash.  This was unheard of for a phone, and I had to have it- I got it for my 18th birthday.  I still have a few photos from this phone which I will share if I can find it in my collections.
The gaming bug definitely bit me early, being a young boy in the early 90's and having access to the likes of Atari, Nintendo Entertainment System, and GameBoy, later on having Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and so on.  If I didn't have a particular console, I typically had a friend that did and we would just come to each others houses and play games.  It was one of the few things that was able to get me out of the house, to go to my friends' regularly. Later on we got into PC gaming, and that sparked a whole other passion in creating computers.  We started playing Red Faction on the PC, my friends also played Unreal Tournament but that was faster paced and harder for me to get into, though that's not to say I was bad at it, I can definitely hold my own in competitive gameplay.  A few years go by and I get introduced to the Halo Universe, buy Halo: Combat Evolved for PC and long story short I ended up joining a clan that made it to the Cyber-athletes Amateur League West Coast Finals.  We came in second place and everything pretty much fizzled out after that competitively, though I have always dreamed of joining a team and going to tournaments, winning and making thousands of dollars to be able to pay my parents back for 30+ years of supporting me.  Unfortunately, due to my Crohn's and chronic inflammation, I have issues with arthritis and carpal tunnel in my hands and wrists, so I'm not sure if I'm past my prime as far as this is concerned, but I definitely still enjoy the hell out of video games of all types.  I play GTA IV, Warframe, and Black Ops 3, though I certainly enjoyed the older Black Ops more.  The newest isn't looking too promising without the story either.  I will most likely be playing a few of the upcoming titles like Read Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, Dying Light 2, Halo Infinite and Elder Scrolls VI.
I built my first computer with my savings in 2000, at age 13. I always kept updated with the newest technology, and when I could buy upgrades, I would buy them and install them myself. I have always wanted to make a career out of building computers specialized for certain needs or businesses, and tried working for a large retailer who offered PC building services, but was unable to keep that job due to issues with management and my illness.  I'm also not sure how much longer my hands will be able to work with small parts like the ones found inside PCs and laptops, which are only getting smaller as time goes by.
Cannabis came about as an alternative medication after years of trying pharmaceuticals with no remission.  Once I tried it and saw how it helped with my nausea, cramps, and appetite, I knew cannabis was probably going to be in my life for a very long time.  I learned to appreciate the plant on a whole nother level and tried growing my own just to get the experience under my belt and see what happened. Not much came out plant-material wise, but it certainly sparked my interest in expanding my knowledge and doing better in the future.  Fast forward almost a decade, and here we are today.  I've got a grow tent up and running with some state-of-the-art LED grow lights, and I'm expecting a good half pound from one plant-

I am only growing for personal use so that I don't have to spend any money because, let's face it, I have no money and can't work due to my disability. I have no income and I am currently living with my parents in a very limited space.  The ultimate goal is to move out into a house where I can utilize an entire room for my grow space, and eventually own a food truck.

I will likely be posting photos from all of these categories.  If any of them interest you, stay tuned!

Whew, how's that for an intro!?  I was not expecting to write that much, but I guess Patreon brings out the creativity in me.  If you made it this far, THANK YOU AGAIN and I hope to see you in my list of Patrons sometime in the near future.  Take care!
