About Contemporary Catholic Writers

Contemporary Catholic Writers (CCW) is a monthly reading and speaker series at The Catholic University of America (CUA) that explores intersections of literature and faith. Our mission is to seek out the best in contemporary literature that engages the religious imagination and artistic craft with equal seriousness, to discuss that literature with the critical attention it deserves, and to share it with as broad an audience as possible.

The Catholic Writers podcast currently features select recordings of CCW events and exclusive interviews with Catholic poets, fiction writers, scholars, and more. New episodes will be posted every month---or more frequently, as our time and your interest permit. Both CCW campus events and the podcast are run and funded entirely by graduate students and other passionate volunteers, which means 100% of your Patreon donations goes toward offsetting the costs of maintaining and growing the podcast, website, and future online projects we can't wait to share with you. We are so grateful for your support, whether that means donating, offering feedback, or sharing the podcast with friends who might enjoy it, too.
