Hi there! I'm David.
I've made a few things, but not all of them are still online - many were for IRC.

I first made Rollem in 2012 to fill a void in IRC Dice Bots. Many were too complex - trying to automate as much of the D&D manual as they could, and so having complex manuals of their own. Many were too simple - only supporting syntax exactly matching XdY+Z. All required a cumbersome /roll or similar before every command. Thus I made a bot that could handle more of what I needed and would intuit which messages were meant to be rolls and which were not - supporting exploding dice and complex chained rolls in a friendly intuitive syntax, and inferring which messages were meant to produce dice.

Since then, Rollem has been rewritten twice. Once for IRC to add stability and persistence, and again to move it to Discord and add many more features. And since then it's grown from a few dozen users on a handful of IRC channels. It is now on over 6,000 Discord servers with over 150,000 users.
