Hi! I'm Lenée. I am "one of those people on Twitter," where I say a lot of things about a lot of things. I tweet about relationships, Black cultural production and art, queer identity, and so much more. In my years on Twitter, I've written at FeministeComplex, and No Shame Movement. In April 2019, launched a monthly column at Raising Mothers. I hosted Hip Hop is 4 Lovers (HH4L) Radio from 2011 to 2014. HH4L Radio was where I cut my teeth as a media maker, generating web content, developing a social media presence, and producing a show with 1,000+ regular listeners. In 2014, HH4L went on a broadcast hiatus. In 2015, I left New York to return to my hometown of Philadelphia, PA, where I returned to what I think of as civilian life: I had a full time job and wasn't creating anymore.
Fast forward to 2019, and I've had a series of life changes, most recently some issues with my reproductive system that have slowed me down considerably. In the rearranging of my life, I've decided to formalize my writing and expand some of my tweet threads into essays, teach-ins, and maybe even a podcast!
