Hello, Patreon Patrons! My name is Kay "Ducky" Deer, and I am a cartoonist, crafter, gamer, police dispatcher and instructor from Seattle, WA.

In addition to drawing comics and illustrations for Ducks Not Included and DeerToons, I also run Anxious Duck, a shop that caters to gaming and geek culture, selling t-shirts, decals, glassware, and candy. Chip 'n' Dale Online is another side project of mine, a site that chronicles the history of Chip 'n' Dale and has a fairly active fan community.

You can find me on Xbox Live as "Hey Ducky," and on the Nintendo Network, Steam, and Twitch as "DuckyDeer."

A little more about myself: I'm an advocate of mental health awareness, as I suffer from bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety, and ADD, a combination that can occasionally become debilitating.  I'm learning to change my illustrative and cartooning focus away from pop culture humor and instead use it as a way to channel some of my struggles with mental illness in a relatable way. It's a work in progress as I adjust to a new style of expression.
