EmoTrackeris creating software for randomizer players, competitors, and streamers
As a Supporter, you are the backbone of the EmoTracker community. Without you, the lights literally don't stay on.
Any patron that contributes at this tier will get the Bronze Supporter Role displayed in the EmoTracker Discord for as long as you remain a patron.
As a Big Supporter, you've made a commitment to making sure that the EmoTracker servers stay live, and that I stay relatively sane at the same time!
Any patron that contributes at this tier will get the Silver Supporter Role displayed in the EmoTracker Discord for as long as you remain a patron.
As a Huge Supporter, you are honestly my hero. You're making more of a difference than you can possibly know, and you'll see it in the product over time.
Any patron that contributes at this tier will get the Gold Supporter Role displayed in the EmoTracker Discord for as long as you remain a patron, and will be automatically included in any organized beta tests that may occur in the future.
Oh, and also me. You can help keep my lights on too.
EmoTracker makes use of an ever-expanding set of cloud services, both to make development more efficient and also to support upcoming advanced features like networked/linked trackers. We've been living on the free tier for a lot of these things for quite a while, but the good news is that we've gotten too popular for that! The bad news is that now it costs money.
I considered a few ways to support the service, but I ultimately decided on Patreon because...
- It allows you to contribute as much or as little as you are able to (or interested to)
- It allows me to reward you for those contributions over time
- It allows me to track contributions so that I can predict our affordable service capacity in the future
What You Get
In addition to the benefits associated with your support tier, all patrons will receive access to development blogs here. I have a busy IRL job, and can't guarantee a specific schedule, but you can expect to see patron-only blog posts here giving supporters early insight and commenting opportunities on new features, as well as additional insight into what I'm working on, what's on my mind, or even just my thoughts on software development after several decades of professional experience.
At $350 a month, the EmoTracker cloud service is operating without a net loss for the foreseeable future (not counting my time).
Things don't just immediately shutdown when we don't hit this goal, but continually missing this target will ultimately result in me having to reduce the availability of certain features or, in some cases, force me to eliminate planned/requested features from the roadmap.
NOTE: This is not a "forever" amount - the amount shown here may fluctuate over time, both up and down.
I will keep this goal up to date to be reasonably accurate to the latest forecasts I have for all service fees necessary to support the currently released and in-development feature set.
