Hi there, I'm Greg, I'm into punk and hardcore music and have been for about 30 years now!
Every Wednesday night I do a hardcore punk radio show on our local community radio station 5ZZZ 91.1 FM here in McLaren Vale, South Australia. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and love it! I play music from bands from all over the world, new releases, old releases and everything in between. I focus a lot on music that inspires me - social justice, veganism, anti-capitalism, anti-fascism, LGBTQI rights, feminism and much more.
About 4 years or so ago a fire burnt down a community space I had been heavily involved in, The Black Cockatoo Arthouse, which destroyed pretty much my entire record collection. I lost a LOT of amazing records, CD's, shirts, zines and photos documenting almost 30 years of my life from discovering punk as a young teenager!

I did have some LP's stored at home and generous friends, ie Clint Short Fuse sent me care packages of records but of course, it will never be the same. I've wanted to get back into buying records, but the loss was just too huge and starting again is something I just don't have the money for. So for now, the music I play on the show comes mostly from bandcamp, surviving vinyl and Cd's and mp3s I have.

There are 2 main reasons why I have set up a Patreon account:

1) To cover and help with running costs of our radio station and my show.

2) To be able to cover some of the costs involved with putting the show together, including being able to pay for the digital releases of the music I play from bandcamp. I'm not one to ask for help but I'm not too financial at present and really want to be able to pay for the music from the bandcamp bands, rather than it just sitting in my "wishlist".

Right now the show is recorded and streamed live every Wednesday night at 9:30pm Adelaide, South Australia time and is then put on Mix Cloud at:
In the future I hope to actually turn this into a podcast where i interview small, unknown bands and put their music out into the ether!

As far as financial support goes, a regular contribution would be awesome, whatever you can afford or one off donations via paypal to: [email protected]

Please feel free to email me, contact me through facebook or through Patreon.

Thank you So much in advance
