The first story I wrote was about my friends and I riding dinosaurs to escape Tom Smith because he had head lice. My pre-school teacher, Ms Rawson, told me it was a good story but that I was wrong to make fun of Tom and should apologise. I did, and since then I've loved writing stories and hated making fun of people. She was a good teacher.

After school I studied to become a screenwriter and worked in TV when I could and anything else when I couldn't. For the past two years I was a writer and producer on a youth news show called The Feed, on the Australian network SBS Viceland. It was a good job but the news is very disheartening, and my mind kept distracting me with magical worlds full of towers and space battles, rebellions and might. So I quit to write stories.

By donating to this Patreon account you'll gain access to those worlds and I'll gain access to food and shelter so I might create them for you.

Specifically The Milieu Archive, and Lucid. These two worlds more than any other have occupied my thoughts for the past few years: one science fiction, the other fantasy.

The Milieu Archive is a collection of science fiction long, and short, stories spanning a possible future for humanity. From the development of off-world colonies to our entry into the Galactic Milieu, the Archive explores tales of rebellion, wonder, and the enduring spirit of our species.

Each fortnight I'll aim to add either a short story or chapter from a longer narrative to the Archive set at pivotal moments in the future-history, accessible to my patrons.

Lucid is my main project, a series of novels following the adventures of 12-year-old Eva Park as she discovers the magical world of Lucid hidden inside our dreams. A fantastical place, where emotions are power and imagination can change the fabric of reality. Lucid is real. Lucid is wondrous. Lucid is deadly.

The five-book series has been plotted out and I've begun writing book one, patrons will gain access to excerpts from the world and upon completion discounted/free copies.

Goals
0% complete
$900 per month covers my rent and would be a huge step in ramping up the creative process.

If we reach that goal I'll begin releasing audio-books of selected stories from the Milieu, produced and recorded at a professional level.
