Hello! My name is Giancarlo Parimango and I have been creating Pokemon content for almost 10 years.

I started making Youtube videos when I was just 11 years old. Back then, Youtube was nothing like it is now. There were few to no opportunities for gamers and the community as a whole was very different. Things started changing really fast though.

In 2010, I was partnered by a network for the very first time. Not too long before this happened, no one thought it was even possible for a gaming channel to be partnered. Of course, I wasn't the first one, but it wasn't a common sight to see at the time.

I was 15 when Youtube become my "full time job". I didn't really consider it a job though because I had already been doing it for 4 years without expecting anything. It was more like a hobby to me. I spent all my free time recording videos and getting creative. Also, since I was partnered, I was able to afford games and equipment to expand my channel even further. Unfortunately, things got a little bumpy down the road.

Initially, my network paid me based on views rather than ad revenue, something that would come back to bite me later on. I never realized that ad revenue was such an unreliable source of income until I was forced to switch networks in 2013. My old network started to force people to sign new contracts, switching them from the simpler format to an ad revenue split. The other option they presented to me was to terminate the contract.

Nothing was ever the same after I was forced to switch to an ad revenue split. I didn't know anything about ad placement or how it worked. The worst part was that I had moved to Seattle across the country away from my parents not knowing that this would happen. I was fine for the first few months but eventually I had to start streaming more often to make ends meet. This doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it, but I had a set time for everything and I never streamed for more than 2 hours at a time.

Eventually, I found myself streaming more than uploading to my own channel. This worked out very well for me at first, but then I stopped streaming for a while because I decided to move back in with my parents. Moving all of my belongings across the country took a long time and when I returned to the internet, both my Twitch and Youtube channels had suffered a lot from my absence. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to stream or upload at my parents house because of how slow the internet was, among other things. Sadly, I didn't have the funds to move out so I stayed with them for a few months and saved up. Once I was able to move out, I looked for an affordable place and decided to move back to Seattle again. Other stuff happened between then that hindered me but things are starting to look better now.

I created this Patreon page to ensure that I will be able to deliver videos and streams consistently for years to come. If enough people pledge, I will no longer have to worry about the financial aspect of it and be able to focus on delivering more content. Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and reading my story. If you enjoy my content, please consider becoming a patron. There are many levels to choose from, and remember that even the smallest contribution helps.
$0 of $500 per month
I will stream for a full 24 hours on Twitch once a month. The game that I will play will be decided after the goal is reached.
