Who is Gemanon?

Gemanon is a progressive metal band from the Bay Area, CA. Comprised of band members James Fraser (Guitar/Vox), Trey Fiebich (Bass), and Mitch Cairns (Drums).

Brief History of Gemanon

In 2014 we released our debut self-titled album. We used IndieGoGo as the platform of choice to help fund the creation of the album & as a way to handle pre-orders and merchandise production.

2015 was an entirely different year for us. While we did work on writing album 2 quite a bit, along the way we were invited to play at DockerCon. While our metal music wasn't quite the right fit for the convention's atmosphere, we took to arranging a dozen or so of our childhood-favorite video game tracks. We found this experience immensely rewarding as well as being a ton of fun.

A couple of tracks that we played at DockerCon: Chemical Plant Zone (Sonic 2) and Vampire Killer (Castlevania)

So where does Patreon fit into all of this?

Having grown weary of the standard crowdfunding process, we wanted to try something different. Here's the breakdown-
1. Fans can pledge a certain amount of money on a per-video basis.
2. As we complete new songs, we release them as videos on YouTube.
3. Fans who have pledged $$$ to our Patreon page receive instant access to MP3's of these songs and other exclusive content. (Note that you're only charged for tracks which will be on a physical album!)

Number 4 is our favorite part! Are you ready?
4. Anyone who is a loyal patron (even at the most basic level) receives physical copies of our albums when they are released along with content exclusive to Patreon (Think FLAC, multitracks, video downloads, wallpapers, etc.)

We plan on releasing our video game cover album and a complete collection of original heavy metal music in 2017. Won't you join us on our musical journey? This is something completely new and it's certainly an experiment- one we think is more beneficial for our fans and the band.
Tiers
Pledge $2 or more per Song
- Physical album releases (Bi-yearly)
- MP3/FLAC download of song
Goals
$6 of $1,000 per Song
Right now all of our videos are made at our in-home studio in San Jose, CA. The extra cash means we can splurge a little more with better video equipment and probably better audio gear.
