About Gravity City

GRAVITY CITY synopsis:

About the Books -

In the unknown depths of space, the celestial body known as Nebuna is the home to a metropolis with a bad attitude and an expansive wasteland filled with legends, magic, and mystery.
The tales you are about to read will give you an unflinching ride through the crime-filled gutters and corruption of Gravity City and the wondrous world of what lies beyond city limits. Readers call Gravity City a wild blend of Blade Runner meets Taxi Driver meets Star Wars.

About the Magazine -
For science fiction fans, Gravity City digital magazine features an exciting variety of original short stories, digital art, interviews, book reviews, a podcast, and a touch of nostalgia that harkens back to sci-fi fanzines many of us grew up loving, such as Starlog, OMNI, Fangoria, and Amazing Stories.

Hello, everyone!

I can't thank you enough for stopping in and checking out the Gravity City Patreon page. If you decide to become a patron, we promise to work as hard as we can to deliver the goods you've paid for with your hard-earned money.

It’s been one whole week since the arrival of the Gravity City magazine, and the response has been, dare I say – out of this world. That makes me and our contributors happier than you know because we all worked really hard to bring you something special and fun.

While work on Issue #2 has begun, our production window is way smaller now than it was when we started on Issue #1. This means that we will be working double-triple the time. That’s three months as opposed to the eight months we previously had to produce a magazine. This includes seeking out artists, writers, pitching ideas for features, brainstorming graphic designs, editing, formatting, marketing, financing, and occasionally panicking and praying that all our efforts don’t go flying off the edge of a cliff in a fiery blaze. Don’t worry, panicking is just something artists do. It’s part of the process.

Nonetheless, I’m sure you guys don’t want to wait four months for the next piece of substantial content while we work on the magazine. We want to bring you consistent and quality stuff on a monthly basis. We want to give you short stories written by fantastic sci-fi writers, artwork, merchandise, podcasts, and bonus material. I would also like to release the first Johnny Rangers novel and subsequent novels, too. We want to give you ALL THE THINGS! But our robots can only push and pull so many buttons and levers at once before they catch fire. We don’t have robot insurance! We need more robot hands on deck!

This is where you, our friends, come in. I believe a subscription option would be ideal. Particularly, through Patreon. This would help us finance and streamline content for you as a Gravity City fan.  As we grow, we'll be able to diversify the rewards with unique content as it becomes available. We hope that you consider supporting us, sharing our campaign, and joining us on this crazy adventure. See ya soon!

Thank you.
