About Grow On
Thank you for your interest in joining us!
We envision Grow On becoming a comprehensive educational organization that provides training and jobs within the fields of permaculture, agroforestry, and water conservation. We aim to grow a cooperative that transforms spaces into permaculture centers and food forests that empower people to nourish themselves and the earth, strengthen the immediate community, and stimulate the local economy.
1. Teach community members (in New Orleans and beyond) how to grow food in a regenerative way.
2. Provide food and home security + pay for farm managers and staff.
3. Broaden Grow On's reach by planting food forests in other cities and countries.
Our short-term goal is to cover the basic needs of the farm to keep it up and running. This includes utilities, tools, and materials to continue increasing food production.
Our long-term vision is to expand Grow On projects to other places for forest and water conservation projects, as well as reforestation projects.
