Hello, and thank you for stopping here. Read on and enjoy...

Even after the end of the year-long Kawaii365 project in 2017, the blog (www.kawaii365.blogspot.com) is still running :) And after some serious thought & planning - there are some new characters saying hi to you!

Inspired by 'just drawing in kawaii style', they are adorable & friendly animal hybrids, called Zoo'd. All 12 of their character profiles are up on their blog - www.zoodanimalfriends.blogspot.com

And you will see them in coloring books (on my Etsy shop), tee shirts (my RedBubble shop), a voicing video, web comics and maybe someday, after some votes on Jazwings, possibly as plush stuffies. If you're gonna dream, do it big!

So if you love animals, and you love cute & funny stuff, then follow along and stay tuned to this Patreon page ^_^

About Daryl:

I'm a 30-something Canadian woman (from Red Deer, AB) who loves cute cartoons. I'm a quirky Pisces with the most amazing husband in the world! (seriously, Rob is very supportive of my artistic endeavors and it is appreciated). In July 2016, we attended an adult coloring event at the library here, and it changed my life forever! I won a free copy of the book Unstuck by Skull-A-Day celebrity and author, Noah Scalin. After reading the book for awhile, I was hit with sudden inspiration to dive in full force and create none other than a daily, year-long project dubbed #kawaii365.

'Kawaii' is the Japanese word meaning cute, and that's the style of my art.

This daily art project and blog helped drive me to live a better quality of life, as it helped me to:
-Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
-Get over shyness and meet new people; make good friends :)
-Express myself
-Collaborate with others

And pledging can help you by:
-Giving you a daily smile to alleviate the stress from the world
-Inspiring you to try a project of your own :D
-Having a good laugh at some of my worst attempts
-Getting a chance to have your own stuff featured on the blog, and getting viewers for you
-Learning new & interesting tidbits about Japanese culture and language
-Getting some fun coloring pages to enjoy in your downtime

Here are some samples of this kawaii blog's favorites:

I would love to thank you in advance for helping support Zoo'd Animal Hybrid Friends, as well as my blog www.kawaii365.blogspot.com doing everything that I can in true kawaii (cute) fashion! I couldn't create full time without amazing supporters like you! Thank you.

Goals
2 of 4 patrons
The goal of Zoo'd Animal Hybrid Friends, is to entertain and provide you with "warm, fuzzy feelings". These animals blossomed from me one day while I was wrapping up my #Kawaii365 art project (a major player in my career). This may sound silly at first, but even drawing them - they feel "alive" to me. Each one of the 12 animals has a soul, a personality. I love them in the way a mother may love her new baby, and the way a person can love their pets (to me, the Zoo'd animals are a bit of both).

Now, the way they are going to entertain the world, is by becoming widely recognized and appreciated for their quirkiness and charming, loving personalities!  How will they become known? With your help, of course.  As a Patron, even pledging to give only $1/month, you're helping me with things such as:
*Art supplies to make more images of them
*Taking courses to improve my skills (super important for true professionals)
*Paying for my yearly Red Deer Arts Council membership
*Being able to "buy" my own
Zoo'd designs from my RedBubble shop, so as to advertise them
*Paying for labor - that is, the actual time I put into writing scripts for them, practicing my drawings, editing, etc.
*This practicing also includes voice acting - yes, there will be more voiced videos coming soon!

Remember - the more you pledge, the more you help, literally!

If you want to "Follow" us here for now (I understand that finances can be tight), it's free, fast and
easy to share this page with your friends!
