About Isometric Battles
Hey everybody, name's Felipe! I make isometric-styled maps: digital illustrations carefully painted to breathe something new into your game.
Within each map, I sketch and color many subtle opportunities for narrative and encounter ideas.
These are great for epic battles or puzzles. And they're perfect for digital gaming and casual printing, with all grids following the standard 1"(2.54cm) measure.
I start each map as a hand-drawn sketch and sometimes take a more expressive approach to isometric projection. Then I switch over to a digital painting studio to start working.
The end result is a drawing that provides a sense of depth, proportion, and space. Like your heroes are actually there!
I take these sketches and painstakingly work to bring them to life with color and light. There's a painterly quality to the works that I hope you'll find special.
I even provide a hand-drawn grid variant along with a technical grid, and no grid variants.
In the months ahead, I plan to explore different art styles too.
With your participation, we get to make more incredible maps, you get to pitch in ideas of what you'd like to see, and we expand this map-making effort!

How it Works
As a Patron, you immediately get to join the Discord server. There I'll be sharing progress sketches and screenshots, and documenting the trailblazing of each illustration.
Feel free to reach out to me to leave feedback or just a cool idea you'd like to see in a map.
I'll be working towards releasing at least (2) maps every month. Occasionally, I'll be exploring different art styles too.
Remember, you can set a monthly maximum of posts that you'd like to pledge to; this way you don't ever get charged for more maps than you'd like.
That's it! Hope to see you around!
My painting station will get upgraded so I can make maps at 300 PPI without upscale! And I'll release an exclusive, bizarre isometric dungeon adventure as a bonus!
