Welcome!

I simply cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am that you are here! Not just here on my Patreon page, but on this beautiful planet together with me. You are such a magnificent being and I am here to remind you of that when you forget it yourself.

We all do it from time to time. Forget, I mean.

I do it too. More than I care to admit, but after many years of struggling and fighting to keep my level of happiness to a certain level, I have collected a bunch of different tools to use whenever I forget that I always is, and always will be, good enough exactly as I am.

I share two of the most powerful of them in here because I have found that the combination between these two elements makes one amazing cocktail and hopefully I manage to serve it all with some well-chosen words and some tricks as the sprinkle on top.

And I don’t care what you say - everything gets better with sprinkles 😍

One of the elements I share with you is meditation. And before your head takes you on a trip to Tibet, where all the Buddhist monks are welcoming you to their temples, I want you to stay here with me and let me debunk some myths about meditation right away.

You don’t need to be a Buddhist or a monk or you don’t even have to sit in a cross-legged position until you can’t feel your legs anymore.

Meditation is about journeying inwards. That’s pretty much it. To take a look inside and notice what’s going on and from that point on, anything can happen.

Many people have this idea that meditation is about reaching a certain state of calmness and that part isn't wrong at all. There are just so many other things meditation can do - and even more ways to use it. To meditate is to take on the Sherlock Holmes cap and bring out the magnifying glass and take a closer look at what is going on.

This is the point where I tend to lose people, not because they don't like the idea, but all too often it seems like too big a change in their busy lives.

They don't know how to start.

And that brings me to the second thing I am sharing with you guys. It is this brilliant concept called Kaizen. Basically, it translates into "continuous improvement" and the word itself is Japanese. The magic of Kaizen is to think in small steps, small questions, small actions and small changes in the thought patterns.

Kaizen is used in businesses and corporations, but I have found it so magnificent to use in my private life, whenever I have something I wish to achieve, but experience bumps on the path to reaching it. And being a single mom, I often find myself on a very bumpy road.

I used it to start meditating on a daily basis. I used it to start this blog. To lose weight. To feel happier. To be more present. The list goes on.
I am here to help you find the courage to be yourself. Being yourself means that you know who you are, and when you do that, you will find it easier to
- say yes to the things you do want
- say no to the things you don't want
- ask for help or support, when you feel insecure
- express yourself without playing the blame game or being a victim of circumstances

So here we are. Me, with a pocket full of easy simple steps to change your life for good, and you, with the wish to get more out of life. One of the most important things to have, when it comes to making changes, is support. And that is what I am giving to you. Support. Because I believe in you, and I believe that for every person on this planet that takes their time to find their happy place, will make a huge difference in the world just by doing it. Believers are the one changing the world and therefor believers get the early access on all posts.

Feedback and questions are always welcome, just keep in mind that we are here to grow and expand together, so keep the tone friendly and constructive. I am blogging because I love to write, and any feedback that makes me a better writer is forever welcome.

All of my beautiful believers (aka patrons) will get a weekly challenge directly sent to their inbox, a chance to really practice living with The Kaizen Way.

Together we rise.
